We Know Hotels
When the founders (Holly and Dan) started conducting hotel sales and digital marketing training they started getting requests for other types of training. They quickly realized that there were limited practical resources available for hotel staff to upgrade their knowledge and skills. As a result, they decided to develop HotelBSchool to solve three specific problems:
Practitioners, not Professors
Existing education is too theoretical and not being taught by active practitioners. HotelBSchool training is practical and is taught be the people in the trenches. People who work in these areas and understand the challenges and solutions in depth.
Addressing Real Challenges, With Real Solutions
Existing online training either doesn’t exist, or may be of poor quality. HotelBSchool has strict quality control, ensuring only the best training and instructors’ content is available. HotelBSchool works with instructors to develop, edit and produce the training to ensure it meets our high standards.
The one-stop site for Hotel Training
Existing online training is hard to find and access. HotelBSchool will create or aggregate hotel training in one easy-to-use platform and offer those in the industry who want to share their knowledge a platform to do so.
Our Name
HotelBSchool stands for Hotel Business School. But the “B” also represents the intransitive verb, To Be. We believe the courses we develop or handpick for our portal will give hoteliers the knowledge and skills, to be:

COURSE INSTRUCTORS
Our instructors are actively involved in the hotel industry. While some are full time industry trainers and consultants working directly with hotels others are current employees of hotels (managers, directors, DOSMs, GMs, Asset managers, etc.) and other industry leader subject matter experts. The common element among all of them, is that they are passionate about the industry and want to raise the quality of their discipline within the industry.
The HotelBSchool team works with each instructor to ensure that all classes are created for practical application and utilizing best practices in online training.

Technology has become the enabler for almost everything we do. HotelBSchool’s mission is to train and educate those in the hotel industry and to do this you need to understand current and new technology.
